Last week, the United States produced 1% less ethanol compared to the previous week. The data released by the Energy Information Administration (EIA), indicate the production of 797 thousand barrels per day.
The figure represents the second lowest average since 2010, when the monitoring began. The worst performance was recorded the week of Jan. 25, when 770,000 barrels per day were produced.
The U.S. ethanol inventories fell 3.4% in the last week reaching 8.7 million barrels.
