Ethanol: Mozambican company will start production in September

Mozambican newspaper “O Pais” reported that Nicol Ramp Steen, director of Mozambique Bio-Fuel Industries, said in September the company will begin production of processed foods and biofuels.

For this, about US$ 20 million were initially invested, US $ 5 million targeted for planting sunflower and other applied in an area of ​​1500 hectares in the district of Lugela, located in the province of Zambezia.

Also according to the director, 75% of the company’s production will be food, like oil, corn, wheat and soybeans, and the remainder will be converted into ethanol, reaching a production of 700,000 liters monthly.
