Açúcar sobe para máxima recorde na Índia antes de festival religioso

Os preços do açúcar no mercado doméstico da Índia atingiram uma máxima histórica nesta segunda-feira, com operadores realizando compras em preparação para um importante festival hindu em agosto ao mesmo tempo em que a oferta é baixa.

O contrato mais ativo do açúcar na bolsa indiana tocou recorde de 3.889 rúpias por 100kg.

A demanda por doces aumenta no país durante festivais.

A Índia é o maior país consumidor de açúcar do mundo, e o Brasil o maior produtor e exportador.
