Iraq buys 45,000 T white sugar from UAE -source

Iraq has bought 45,000 tonnes of white sugar from the United Arab Emirates, a trade ministry source said on Thursday.
Iraq reissued a tender last month to buy at least 25,000 tonnes of white sugar after a first tender failed because prices offered were too high. The bidding deadline was May 28 and bids had to remain valid until June 1.
