BestBIO Award gathered about 200 people in SP

The BestBIO 2012 award revealed on Tuesday the best cases and professionals in Brazil in the areas of biofuels, bioenergy, bioelectricity and biotechnology. The event, sponsored by the Magazine Energia Mundo, gathered about 200 people at the Renaissance Hotel Sao Paulo, during the cocktail of FO Lichts Sugar & Ethanol Brazil.

Among the winners were Amyris Brazil; Guarani; Brix Energy Futures and Renuka Equipav.

To Onorio Kitayama, bioelectricity does not occupy the place it should in Brazil. "The country and bioenergy can not suffer the consequences of low prices of the auctions," he said.

TheBestBIO Brazil 2012 is sponsored by Energia Mundo magazine and also by companies such as Exam Independent Consultants, GE Water & Power, and Renk Zanini Sermatec.
